6 Months Old!

Kamdyn had her 6 month check up last week. She got the OK from the doctor to start solid foods. We tried the cereal and the pictures say it all. She is sitting up all by herself now and she loves it!

Polar Express Cont.

Polar Express

Last Saturday we drove about an hour and a half north to take a ride on the Polar Express. We went with my friend Renee and her family. We all wore our pajamas and had an amazing time. Peyton loved it! He tells anyone who will listen all about it. He talked to the elves before boarding the train. He got a jingle bell, had milk and cookies, and listened to "Twas the Night Before Christmas". He was having a great time until we passed the North Pole and saw Santa Claus then he went blank. We had never seen him so quiet and still. He grabbed on to me and would not let go when the train stopped to let Santa on. Santa passed through our car and Peyton would not look at him until he saw that Santa was giving him a candy cane, then he started laughing. When we got off the train Santa was waiting in his sleigh and Peyton went right on in and told Santa that he wants the Polar Express train for Christmas. Kamdyn was a doll until we put them all in Santa's sleigh!

Thanksgiving fun with the Perry's...

Kamdyn is really enjoying the Johnny Jump Up and the Exersaucer. She loves standing up! (assisted of course)

Peyton has had two days of going potty in the big boy potty. We are on our way to no more diapers for him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween with the Perry's...

Kamdyn's first and Peyton's third Halloween was a good one. Heather did a great job making both costumes (Peter Pan and Tinkerbell) from scratch. Noni, Heather, Kami, Peyton, and I went to the Potter's for a great Chili dinner Halloween night, then we hit the road for some Trick or Treating. The kids were great and made it around a couple blocks in our neighborhood. Kami slept the whole time with Noni, but I know she enjoyed the night.

Peyton and his Lil' sis...

Peyton loves to hold his little sister (Kami as he calls her). He always makes sure she isn't "fussy". But for sure there is never a dull moment with Peyton around.

Mickey's Trick or Treat Party

My sister and I took Taylor, Peyton, and Kamdyn to Disney's California Adventure for trick or treating. Taylor was Princess Jasmine, Peyton was Peter Pan, and Kamdyn was Tinkerbell. We all had a great time. There were tons of people, Peyton was a bit frightened by the characters, so we didn't get any pictures with them but we did get lots of candy! They were done by the end of the night as you can see by the picture!

4 Months Old

Kamdyn turned 4 months yesterday! She had her 4 month shots and did great, she fell asleep about 1 minute after they were given to her. She is now 13 lbs. 9 oz. and 25 1/2 inches long. Peyton thought Kamdyn was so brave, he got to get a flu shot with mom!

Our Little Buddies

Peyton made a spider donut with pretzel sticks and enjoyed every ounce of it!
Peyton loves that Kamdyn is getting bigger and is able to do more things with him. He loves to hold on to her on his chair while he watches his favorite shows.
Kamdyn is getting so strong. She loves to sit and stand with assistance, but she really does well.

New Gardens

Brian has been busy adding more gardens to our front and back yard. They do add a lot to the house!

Pumpkin Patch Continued

Pumpkin Patch

We visited the pumpkin patch yesterday and it wasquite different then the last few years. Peyton could care less about the pumpkins. All he wanted to do was dance on the hay barrels, check out the animals, and bang on the drums in the giant tepees. Kamdyn went wherever we wanted her to but it was kind of challenging, considering the fact that she can't sit up yet, but she did very well.

Fun at Home!

Peyton is a very loving older brother. He gets into Kam's personal space a little too much but she is a trooper and it is hard to get upset when Peyton is just trying to give her lots of love.

Peyton loves to use his imagination! He comes up with all kinds of fun new words that he thinks are hilarious. He also loves to dress up, he likes wearing the cowboy hat, with his fire boots while he rides the horse around the house!

Peyton has become an excellent driver of the fire engine. He is no longer doing circles in the driveway. He has mastered backing up and thinks he is really cool when he is driving it! Taylor loves playing with it as well, deciding who gets to drive first is the only problem we face with it.

The Bumbo is back! I love this thing and so does Kamdyn. She loves being upright and this picture shows how much she enjoys it.
